|
The Glenoid Anchor and Rotator Cuff Anchor
ADVANTAGES...
- Wedge design provides easy anchor insertion and reduces risk of divergence
- The Cuff Anchor's threads have a high pitch (fewer threads) making the threads more aggressive. The high pitch of the anchor allows for percutaneous (through the skin without creating a formal portal) insertion of the anchor
- The high pitch of the threads also allows for more bone between each thread giving the anchor better purchase even in poorer quality bone
- Rounded eyelet allows the suture to slide back and forth easily during knot tying thereby reducing the risk of suture fraying or suture breakage
- Loaded with one green and one white strand of suture allows for easy identification during knot tying
- The Cuff Anchor is loaded with 2 strands of suture which provides the surgeon with 2 points of fixation per anchor, and a more secure repair of soft tissue to bone
- Sizes: 3mm glenoid anchor and 5mm rotator cuff anchor
