The Stryker Howmedica Modular Resection System is a modular prosthesis designed for the treatment of malignant bone tumours. It is primarly used in tumour surgery of the lower limb, although it also has applications in hip and knee revision arthroplasty. The Stryker Howmedica Modular Resection System has been in clinical use since 1990 and it is a development of the Kotz Modular Femur and Tibia Reconstruction (KMFTR) System which has a clinical history of more than 15 years. |
